Save the Children

Role: Montaggio, Color Correction

Save the Children

The Brief

30" spot for the Save the Children national campaign "Don't let them go". Directed by Daniele Fiore. Project based in Rome.

The Challenge

Thirty seconds to deliver a message that must hit hard without manipulating. The editing had to build a precise emotional crescendo: everyday life scenes paired with child mortality numbers. Every second counts.

The Solution

Editing and color correction calibrated for a spot that lives on contrast: the normality of everyday life against the urgency of the data. The warm, natural color makes the scenes familiar — the superimposed numbers do the rest.

The Result

Spot broadcast in the Save the Children national campaign.

Save the Children — every 5 seconds a child dies in the world
Save the Children spot — hand detail, cinematic color correction
Every 5 seconds a child dies somewhere in the world. The spot places this fact alongside the most ordinary gestures: an hour stuck in traffic, three hours on the computer. The contrast is everything. No need to shout when the numbers speak for themselves. The editing builds its rhythm on this contrast: slow, everyday scenes, then the data that cuts through. The color stays warm and natural — it has to feel like your day, not a news report.
