Bonus Idrico — Acea Acqua

The Brief
Institutional spot for Acea Acqua on the Water Bonus communication. The chosen approach: a 2.5D animation with an animated water drop mascot that narrates and guides the viewer through the video. Project developed from Rome.
The Challenge
Transforming a technical-bureaucratic topic into an accessible and pleasant visual story, while maintaining Acea’s institutional seriousness. The animated drop needed personality and expressiveness while remaining brand-coherent.
The Solution
I created the animation in 2.5D in After Effects — a technique that gives 2D illustrations a 3D appearance through depth, shadows and multi-plane movements. The water drop is the character narrating the video: it guides the viewer through the water bonus steps with fluid transitions and animated typography.
The Result
A spot where a complex topic becomes simple to understand — the power of motion graphics applied to institutional communication.
